IceGuard CEPG frost protection cable for water pipes, consists of a connecting cable with plug connected to a heating cable via a thermostat, switches on automatically as soon as the water pipe is in danger of freezing. Combined with pipe insulation, IceGuard CEPG heating cables provide frost protection down to -40°C. The thermostat guarantees energy-efficient control of your freeze protection. IceGuard CEPG is available in lengths from 1 to 49 meters and is suitable for both plastic and copper water pipes with a maximum diameter of 38mm. Using PVC tape, the heating cable and thermostat are attached to the pipe after which the plug is inserted into an ordinary wall socket.
