HENSOTHERM 7 KS bandage / Gewebe is an intumescent pipe wrap for plastic and multilayer pipes up to Ø 125 mm in the HENSOMASTIK Mixed Penetration Sealing, or as a single penetration, up to EI 120 in flexible walls, solid walls and floors.

The fire sealing fabric HENSOTHERM 7 KS Gewebe consists of a glass filament fabric mechanically covered with the intumescent coating HENSOTHERM 7 KS of anthracite colour from both sides. It is highly flexible and can be processed in tight windings. The coating is free of halogens, APEO, borates, fibers and plasticizers. With their non-VOC property, the coating meets the requirements of the LEED credit EQ c4. 2. It is classified in the emissions class A + (very low emission) due to the French emission certificates according to DEVL1101903D and DEVL1104875A. HENSOTHERM 7 KS meets the requirements of the use categories Y2/Z1/Z2.

Installation guidelines

ORYX Batts Double;

- Plastic pipes up to Ø 125 mm*

- Alu multi-layer pipes up to Ø 75 mm, with or without elastomer insulation

- Elastomer insulated metal pipes up op Ø 90 mm

ORYX Batts Single;

- Elastomer insulated metal pipes up op Ø 90 mm

Single penetrations in flexible and solid walls;

- Plastic pipes up to Ø 125 mm*

*Examples are; Geberit Silent dB20, Silent PP, PE, PE-HD, Polokal 3S, Polokal NG, PP-HT, PP, PVC, PVC-U, Ruapiano Plus, Geberit Mepla, Viega Raxofix etc.
