PAROC Wired Mats WR 550 are an excellent tool for minimizing the risk of CUI, keeping the superior water repellent properties at temperatures up to 300 °C (< 0,1 kg/m2 according to EN 1609 and EN 12087).

PAROC stone wool products are capable of withstanding high temperatures. The binder starts to evaporate when its temperature exceeds approximately 200 °C. The insulating properties remain unchanged, but the compressive stress weakens. The softening temperature of stone wool products is over 1000 °C.
