The TECLIT PS 200 is a robust pipe shell with particularly strong aluminum foil for permanent diffusion-tight insulation. The TECLIT PS 200 pipe insulation from ROCKWOOL is suitable for insulating cold pipes in technical installations of buildings. TECLIT PS 200 is a high-quality pipe insulation made of concentrically wound rock wool. The TECLIT PS 200 insulation pipe shell is protected against damage by an aluminum layer with glass fiber reinforcement. The self-adhesive overlap at the longitudinal joint is provided with a particularly strong polycrylate adhesive strip and ensures a long-lasting, diffusion-tight coating.

The TECLIT system has been specially developed for insulating cold pipes of technical installations and is suitable for drinking water, cooling water and cold air pipes. The TECLIT system is suitable for insulating steel, stainless steel, copper and plastic pipes. Pipes that are sensitive to corrosion should always be provided with an anti-corrosion treatment.
The TECLIT system can also be used outdoors provided it falls within the tested temperature range. It is very important that the pipes installed outside receive additional protection to protect the vapor barrier. This is to prevent possible penetration of condensation water. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines for placing such hard covers.
- The TECLIT system has been successfully tested at medium temperatures up to +1 °C.
- The TECLIT system can also be used very well as insulation for hot water pipes or heating pipes. The maximum application temperature of the TECLIT pipe sections and slat blankets is no less than 250 °C.
- The surface temperature of the aluminum foil may not exceed 80 °C.
