Soundac BM100 is a vinyl sound barrier mat composed of polymers filled with the natural mineral barium sulphate. This very flexible barrier mat with high density is designed to improve the sound insulation of existing panels of metal, aluminium, wood, plastic etc.

Installation guidelines

Soundac BM100 is very effective in overcoming coincidence dip resonance found in stiff lightweight composites such as plywood sheets and hollow core panels. Examples of such appli-cations are the reduction of sound of engines, machines, compressors, generators, sound insu-lation of air ducts, piping and separation walls.

The sound barrier mats are well suited and easy to combine with the Soundac AS sound absorbing foams.
