Insul-Phen 40 elbow Alu is an insulation elbow made of Insul-Phen 40 with a finish of reinforced aluminum foil.
Insul-Phen is the renowned brand name for our closed-cell expanded Bakelite foam, which stands for quality, insulation and innovation. Insul-Phen is halogen free, contains no flame retardants and is completely CFC and HCFC free, which means that an excellent fire class can be achieved. Insul-Phen 40 elbows can be provided with various foils, including aluminum and mylar. Insul-Phen elbows can be supplied with a rebate on both the longitudinal seam and the crosscut side. In order to guarantee high quality, Insul-Phen is produced according to EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14011 guidelines. Insul-Phen is CE certified by KIWA according to EN 143144 and EN 13166 for blocks, plates and shells with and without coating.

In combination with a vapor stop, Insul-Phen is also excellent for cold insulation. Insul-Phen is suitable for insulating tanks, channels, pipes and appendages of technical installations in non-residential construction (including air conditioning, central heating and sanitary facilities) and the (food) industry.
Processing
Insul-Phen is low in weight, easy to assemble and process. Insul-Phen can be secured around the pipe with aluminum tape and binding wire. Bends and couplings connect seamlessly to the insulation system.
