Insul-PIR 32 elbow is an insulation elbow made of Insul-PIR 32. Insul-PIR 32 is a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam based on a modified taufoam technology with special polyesters. As a result, Insul-PIR 32 meets the required fire classifications as stated in the Building Decree. The insulating gas used fully complies with the latest EU legislation regarding propellants and is completely CFC and HCFC free. Insul-PIR 32 trays can be provided with various foils, including aluminum and mylar.

Processing
Apply Insul-PIR 32 elbows and secure with filament tape. For use as cold insulation, the Insul-PIR 32 elbows must be provided with a vapor barrier, e.g. aluminum foil and/or mylar. When used as cold insulation, all ends and longitudinal seams of the Insul PIR 32 elbows must be taped using aluminum tape. For extensive processing advice, we refer to the ISSO manual publication 64 ”Insulation quality requirements”
When used below -40 °C, it is recommended to use Insul-PIR 40.
